Igbojionu Vincent Onyedikachi  is a native of Ndume Ibeku, Umuahia North Local Government of Abia State. He attended Government College Umuahia. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Science and Biotechnology from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State. He has gone ahead  to acquire his Master’s Degree in Mycology in the same University. 

Igbojionu Vincent Onyedikachi has Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Medical Mycology in MOUAU. He has written so many scholarly articles in Mycology. He has Co-authored some textbook such as Pathophisiology, Medical Microbiology use for undergrate studies in the university, polytechnic and college of education. He is a Senior Lecturer and a seasoned academic in the Department of Science  Laboratory Technology. He is currently the Director of Academic Planning in Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, Aba.
